issues with Shop / Hero guide. maybe needs rework? #9824

Adding some items doubled quantity + 2x starting value + image still there after being removed

In game, shop column width is only enough for 4 item slots, while hero guides can show 5 items. maybe bigger width for 5 items slots to make it similar?

talent descriptions show coding variable names instead of actual value e.g. 10%. maybe this should be the same as talent tooltip description instead some text appear as codes #1074 e.g. &

total of games played stuck at 0. not sure how to increase counter

item grid just like hero grid sounds amazing!

but perhaps drag only for resizing new grid. because current hero grid has error when dragging the newly created grid to the bottom page, causes it to appear at top instead of your mouse location if you get what i mean. So preferably hero/item grid click once, then use arrow keys to move it around. Or click then scroll up/down etc then click again to desired location then finally drag to resize selected box.

someday i also hope dota shop can become more advanced and compete with other rpg/mmorpg games like path of exile (POE) with some nice features such as:

  1. bigger stash vs trade/vendor window to see all items you sold. e.g. path exile trade window has 12x5 grid. Accidentally sold mask madness? rebuy and disassemble to satanic. gyro can sell recipes for full value but forgot to disassemble first? no problem: e.g. rebuy wraithbands 252g, disassemble to get back 210g recipe full cost, resell 357g (now vendor window only show parts of wraithbands without recipe). This can create more complex gameplays for allowing to change item builds quickly if you change your mind. the ratio is still 50% value unless specified like doom 90%. since dota has 6 items (3x2) or 3x3 with backpack, how about start with 12x6 grid?

  2. Disassemble / sell / buy shortcut keys. if right click menu has 5 options, how about alt 1-5 + left click? image e.g. gyro sell 3 wraithbands require 3x disassemble + 3x right click sell. Or as lone druid 5-6 wraithbands or branches. Quite annoying to right click each item to sell / disassemble. Would recommend POE ctrl+alt left click to quickly sell each item. or ctrl+shift left click to quickly sell multiple items of the same type or maybe the ability to queue selling items on pending vendor window during death. e.g. enemy pushing T3 need to disassemble echosabre and sell voidstone to buy bkb (not enough gold). would be silly to take so much time to do this and rebuy voidstone to buy linken later on.

  3. search / sort function / highlighter for category icons matching items and grey out others instead of new unsorted list. league has icons for categories. image

maybe dota need icons too and unique sort methods. e.g. HP category might have str + direct HP items. List is sorted by highest to lowest stats cheapest / most efficient cost e.g. 880hp heart 550hp satanic 220hp manta etc

or cost effective from basic to upgrades e.g. 250g fluffy hat 125 hp 0.5hp per gold -> 1125g falcon blade 200 hp 0.005 hp per gold 50g branch 22 hp 0.44hp per gold 1000g vit booster 250hp 0.25hp per gold etc 1000g ogre axe 220 hp 0.22hp per gold.

and maybe shift + left click stacked items to show slider for quantity amount e.g. help fix quantity error for saved starting items image image image

  1. development into complex item base types and random modifiers e.g. in POE inventory has allocated 10 slots: helm + chest + belt + boot + glove + necklace + 2 rings + 2 weapon slots. Might be interesting if someday dota has a mode for rpg style random modifiers and unique slots. e.g. buy Random glove that cost 500g. the outcome might be atk speed or agi like glove haste / elvenskin with added random effects like +1 atk or +1 armor etc
