Distro: Ubuntu 18.04 GPU: GTX 980, Nvidia proprietary driver 390.48 Resolution: 2560x1440 RAM: 16GB Proton 3.7-5 Beta

Seems memory limit needed.

@lieff the minimum required driver version is 396.54 ValveSoftware/Proton/blob/proton_3.7/PREREQS.md

@m-svo I'll re-test it with new drivers later. But since game very old, I do not think it's driver related issue.

Crash when starting with Proton 6.3-8 (AMD, Mesa 21.2.6)

Also, when using PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 I get error about low video memory (0) followed by crash so that isn't working either in 6.3.
