Symptoms Game Crashes, soon after, during first mission.

Reproduction

Click on ship after 2-3 intro scenes later, then it crashes.

can't even launch game launcher under linux with proton. With wine game launcher works. submited result to winedb https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=36560&iTestingId=103829 UPD: restarted steam and sudo add-apt-repository ppa:paulo-miguel-dias/mesa&&sudo apt install mesa-vulkan-drivers mesa-vulkan-drivers:i386 and miracle! game work flawlessly submitting new report to winehq

Can confirm. game and campaign starts flawless. fly to first waypoint triggers cutscene. 2-3 seconds after that crash to desktop.

GPU: GTX 780 TI

Proton version: 3.7.6-beta

Now it goes further in the latest beta of Proton (3.16-1) but freezes when trying to open the starmap (M).

Runs fine but it doesn't load savefile, exitis. On Proton 4.2-3. This is a major error IMHO.

You have to remove all .bmp in the saves files folder if, but it seems to load correctly on latest Proton (4.11-1).
