Symptoms

i would like play to Sniper Elite 4, with Steam play proton 3.16-4 it doesn't work. With Steam windows + wine 3.20 staging it's work well but there are not audio.

No logs generated

Symptoms

Game Stuck "Launching" after play and reboot. No logs generated in home directory using PROTON_LOG=1 %command%.

Reproduction

• Hit "Play" to launch Sniper Elite 4 (launches Sniper Elite 4)
• Exit and restart system
• Hit "Play" to launch Sniper Elite 4
• (stuck)

Workaround

• Clear the steam cache
• Restart system

Hello @strattonbrazil, having no log generated on request hints that something went awry before Proton had a chance to start the game at all. There's not enough detail to confirm, but I suspect you're seeing #6859.
