Symptoms

Screen flashes and OS chrome disappears as when a Wine app is going fullscreen. Then a dialog pops up, with the title "Error loading skin file" and body "Could not load font Arial".

I had to install corefonts, lucida, and tahoma. Then in compatdata/109700/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/My Documents/Achron, I had to add a valid resolution for my monitor in configuration.ini. Not sure how easy that is to fix on Steam's end, hope it makes it in to the default install.

I can report the same issue with the error being either Arial and tahoma missing (it appears to switch randomly as I try to start it). I installed corefonts, lucida and tahoma both using winetricks and Font Manager and edited the configuration.ini as @garpu suggested but the error persists. Perhaps I am using winetricks wrong? steam error log
