Symptoms

Configuration tool fails to run at all. Game itself works fine, but all graphical changes are done using the configuration tool.

Reproduction

  1. Right-click game name in Library > click Launch Configuration Tool option.
  2. Tool fails to launch.

fixme:mscoree:parse_supported_runtime sku=L".NETFramework,Version=v4.5.2" not implemented and err:mscoree:CLRRuntimeInfo_GetRuntimeHost Wine Mono is not installed in the log point towards #18.

the game runs almost perfectly for me with some crashes whenever I go through the survival guide portion of the menu it was start flickering and sometimes crash. The config tool works perfectly for me.

I am using Ubuntu 18.04 with kernel 4.19.36 a GTX 1080 with driver 4.18 proton 4.2-3 I wasn't able to get a log I launched the game with the PROTON_LOG=1 %command% launch option but it did not produce a log EDIT: found log steam-819020.log

The game has been updated on Steam, and there are no changes in my system. I cannot say anything about crashes as I was waiting for the configuration tool to work for me. And now I can at least confirm the configuration tool is now working. Edit: I should have mentioned that there are visual glitches on the configuration tool, but besides that, it works.

originally the game would only crash when navigatig to specific parts of the menu, but as of today it now randomly crashes during gameplay

The game runs fine on 0d8ab95d904b0e9cc4992e3dcb324a005eb3127b on ubuntu kernel 5.4.0-89-generic and rtx 3060 ti with driver version 470.74, controllers aren't recognized though. I tried with my SN30Pro+ in XInput and Switch Pro mode via bluetooth and wired as well as my DS4 via bluetooth. I tried steam-input activated and deactivated as well as the default settings for controllers. It just doesn't recognize it at all so the game can only played with mouse and keyboard at the moment.

I enabled the steam overlay to just display the FPS but realized that it fixed XInput not working in this game with my SN30Pro. It shouldn't be linked to an unrelated option if controllers work or not.
