Thanks to an update in Steamworks Common Redistributables the game now launches however another issue happens where the game launches into a black screen. Is there anything else I can do to help with this?

Askarch commented 5 years ago

Having the same issue here, on the other hand I was able to open an older version of ME(cracked) and play it on lutris using the 4.11 wine with DXVK. Were you guys also able to do that or no?

Lamdarer commented 4 years ago

If I launch the game it crashes and asks me if I want to send a crash report to the ME team.

I try to start the game with GE-Proton7-14, the game start fine, but when I try to start a new game it stay at 99% and get unresponding.

Didn't try to install dotnet or something else.

Anyone else who made some test with the new community edition ?

On very low graphic setting I was able to start a game for few seconds and then the game crash.

Lamdarer commented 2 years ago

As of recent the game also launches on AMD GPUs using Proton Experimental, though I had to put the grafic settings to low otherwise it would either hand at 99% again or frezze just after loading the game. And I the UI sometimes still makes problems but otherwise once in a world it runs fine even on high settings
