Symptoms

Uplay successfully installs and launches and synchronizes achievements and saves, but when Uplay tries to start the game the Starlink process either hangs or a popup with the following text occurs: There is not enough memory available to run this program. Quit one or more programs, and then try again. As I've seen something about mfplat in the proton log, I tried the workaround to manually register and install media foundation, but nothing changed. Game also still has Denuvo active, which might be an issue.

• Install the game via Steam
• Click play

Looks like it's a media foundation issue. Game works with Proton-5.4-GE-3 and <Workaround removed by moderator>.
