I don't know about "sensitivity" but the remainder is normal.

There are many caveats to getting this game working smoothly, I started writing a long-winded response here about how to get it running, but then I realized that I should probably get a blog instead, so I did.

Then I made a post about getting the game to work with ultrawide support and using a Nintendo switch controller: https://maus.lol/gta-vice-city-on-linux-in-2021

Sadly still the same issue with Media Foundation regression causing black screen that does not disappear after skipping the intro videos on latest Proton 7.0-1. What is strange is that I did not originally have this issue when I was using a community build of Proton from Flathub (I am running a Flatpak'ed Steam) that does not run on Pressure Vessel.

The issue also does not happen when using the official Proton 4.11-13.

mirh commented 2 years ago

Media foundation didn't even exist when the game was released, lol. And black sceen sounds like the kind of issue you could have if you disabled the frame limiter.

AsciiWolf commented 2 years ago

Oops, I did not realize that. Then the problem is caused by something else.
