This is due to the application not handling the "unknown" battery status in SYSTEM_POWER_STATUS.BatteryFlag. It only checks for the low and critical status, which are set when the battery status is unknown. A simple patch that instead reports 128 (No system battery) instead would fix this.

With latest Steam Client, nVidia drivers 440.26 and kernel 5.3.7 on openSUSE Tumbleweed I have a lot of graphic glitches, and after a while the game crashes. For the moment I attach my Steam System Information Next time I get a crash I'll try to attach some logs. --- edit --- Here a log without the crash. steam-471550.zip

Symptoms
Game tend to lock FPS on 30 even with disabled vsync / fps cap.
Changing OnBatteryRenderingQualityReduction Enabled to false helped. So game / engine thinks i was running on laptop with isn't true.
