I am able to get this game to run in one of the earlier beta builds but live wont get past load screen, if it even get there. Have tried with multiple proton builds myself. GloriousEggroll 6.10 GE 1 will load to the title screen, however, it doesn't go past that. It also always has a steam API error before that. Multiple Proton builds will work if you go back to the DX12 beta version but not sure how complete that is story wise/gameplay wise. It has some graphic anomalies but it does load. Not sure if that helps you much but all I have so far. It seems like it should run but with proton 6.3.4 it complains about DX11 then fails to install it when I try with proton tricks and such. My build: OS: Ubuntu 21.04 KERNEL: 5.12.0-051200-generic CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core GPU: AMD AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT 50th Anniversary (NAVI10, DRM 3.40.0, 5.12.0-051200-generic, LLVM 11.0.1) GPU DRIVER: 4.6 Mesa 21.0.1 RAM: 32 GB

I had a strange issue with this game on my desktop (started up fine on Deck).

In short: it didn't create a prefix. There was no directory 269190 in compatdata. I also checked the most recent directory to make sure there wasn't something weird going on.

So I explicitly set the compatibility layer to "Proton Experimental". This resulted in an extra 17GB of data for a game that has 20GB of data. I didn't check to confirm that game directory was actually full, but I can say that everything was downloaded before hand and Steam installed something somewhere.

After doing that, I was asked to select from loading the game or loading the most recent save. So I'm not sure what's going on. And it did, then, make the prefix.

On an unrelated note, when asked if I would agree that this game satisfies the requirements for "Great on Deck" (Or whatever), I hit "yes" mostly because I was just thrilled to be playing something and chilling on the couch. (It had been a rough month and a half of all work from wake up to bedtime.) However I really would like to change that since the text and icons are really too small. Most of the text can be enlarged, but not all, and there's nothing to be done for the icons.

Steam input is broken on the latest stream beta for this game.

Works fine on steam stable.

Pressing any button causes the controller to vibrate for a bit and then stop receiving input in the game.

Controller still works fine on steam menu it's just the game that no longer sees it.

Don't know if I should also open a steam-linux issue for this @kisak-valve seems to only happen in this game

This is on the beta from June 1st

With a duel sense controller
