I could play only Legend. Anniversary and underworld don't start. I'll attach tomorrow the logs.
I updated today steam and now TR Anniversary works great (same Legend) but Underworld is still not starting. Log : steam-8140.zip

Don't know if it helps, I've notice something: TR Legend and Anniversary don't install directx9 but Underworld does.
Works fine here. Yes, it asked to install some dx files. Maybe there's something wrong with your partition/files permissions.
3851.830:0008:0009:warn:module:load_dll Failed to load module L"Z:\\mnt\\date\\debian\\radu\\steam\\steamapps\\common\\Tomb Raider Underworld\\tru.exe"; status=c000007b
The problem happens only on amd video cards, I test it on another computer with nvidia and it works ok.
Hello @bog-dan-ro, can you check the behavior of the misbehaving game with a bleeding edge version of mesa and llvm 7 or newer? If it still has an issue with that, then please bring this to the attention of the video driver vendor.
@kisak-valve sadly now I'm in vacation till Sep. 12th. On that computer I can play quite a few windows games (I'm using vanilla wine-staging, Lutris to play most of my gog games e.g. Caesar IV, Assassins Creed, Syberia 1,2,3, Monkey Island, etc.) with no problems.
Underworld works for me, but it is unable to make saves.
I have the same issue on Smugglers V, and it's possibly something about the spaces in the directory names. That, or the directory it's trying to use has to be created beforehand.
I couldn't save files for Underworld with Proton 3.7-3 but seems to be working fine now with 3.7-5 beta.
I can't save files for Anniversary with 3.16-4 but it saves with 3.7-8 beta
I take that back, now I can't save even with 3.7-8 beta, lost everything I did in Croft manor, switched to 3.7-8 and now I it seems I can save again.
Work great on 3.16 Beta
When playing TR Anniversary with proton 4.2-5 I noticed horrible mouse stuttering, but I managed to fix it by running the game at native resolution and disabling v-sync. Disabling esync does not seem to have any effect.
Tracking note: Tomb Raider:Underworld will now be tracked in #3616 because a functional difference was observed between it and the rest of the games mentioned here.
Tomb Raider 2nd series: 2006 | Legend 2007 | Anniversary 2008 | Underworld
I used to play these games with Steam on WINE, they all played fine. Now I'm playing with Proton, also fine. The only issue is setting the brightness/contrast from game.
