Symptoms

The game ran perfectly on the initial attempt. However, on all subsequent attempts, it crashed on startup. This issue persisted thru reinstallation of the game. steam-249610.log

Reproduction

The exact steps to have the game run perfectly at first, then fail every time afterwards are unknown.

SDL_Init appears to be failing, not sure why. Might be something unrelated to Proton itself, since it worked one time and not another.
