Hello @Toadfield, this doesn't read as if Proton is involved. Can you clarify exactly how you've installed this mod and running it from Steam? If you click the ⓘ button on the right side of the game in Steam's Library section, does it have a line that says "Runs on this computer via Steam Play. Proton # selected by you for this title.
To run the game,I select that Half-Life 2 will be started with proton, cause the mods don't work with the Linux version of Half-Life 2
Since it was made by Valve the game is native to Linux. Did you try using the native libraries to run it?
What do you mean? If I just leave the settings,so it is selected that it runs the native Linux version, then the mod gives me just an error.
Oh I didn't realize you're trying to mod it. I don't know what MMod is but unless the mod process only requires adding, editing or replacing files modding is hard to on Linux. I myself got excited once when I saw that the vortex mod manager got added as an entry to lutris but the script went bad and has yet to be updated. I've been using the in game mod manager that Skyrim SE has ever since. (which only requires adding files to the mod directory)
Running third pary mod managers is relatively hard though. I honestly am very surprised that vortex ever worked at all on Linux.
For Mmod,I only need to put it in the sourcemods folder.
I get this glitch with Source SDK 2006 and Garry's Mod 10 Classic
