Karryn's Prison is not a RPG Maker game, it uses nw.js, @sorat0mo Have you tried downloading nw.js for Linux from here: https://nwjs.io/downloads/ and overwriting files in the game folder? That worked for me. Also have you tried using custom proton like glorious eggroll? https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases Cheers
@PolishPigeon This is indeed a solution. After unpacking the Linux X64 version of nwjs and launching the game through nw instead of game.exe, it works.
Island Saga (1150730) from same publisher has issue where some art is missing and only black rectangles are shown. This games does have native Linux-version though (also RPG maker game). Windows-version of the game does not start with Proton.

RPG Maker MV uses nwjs. The game binary has some code which launches nw and in some cases the binary ("Game.exe") has some assets in there as well.
Older RPG Maker versions (VX and such) did not use nwjs.
