I confirm:

Symptoms

The game shows a black screen. Tested all available Proton after 5.13-6 (Lastest working version) (so 6.3-8 and Experimental as of 02/09/2022) and also Proton 7.1-GE2 on both Manjaro and Fedora 35 (both up to date as of writing). Also tried pulling DXVK 1.9.4 in Proton 5.13-6 but everything works as excepted so seems like DXVK is not the culprit.

Also tried without fsync/esync and on both X.org/Wayland on Gnome 41.

These games all have the suspicious err:seh:dispatch_exception Fatal EXCEPTION_WINE_CXX_EXCEPTION exception (code=e06d7363) raised line in their logs starting from Proton 6 and up. Nevermind, the game works when using wined3d and still has these lines in the logs, but using the latest DXVK in Proton 5.13-6, the game also runs fine.

Also, this game like many KiriKiri powered VNs has video playback issue with wmv videos, a workaround was to install wmp11 in Proton 5.0 but this seems broken with recent Proton as well. It's still playable as only the opening and ending are videos and the game doesn't crash trying to play them.

I tried again on manjaro gnome with Proton Experimental as of today (03/03/22) and the game works without any big issues on DXVK now. (video playback still doesn't work)

The game crashed by forcing Experimental and 9.0 and 8.0, but works in 3.16-9. wmv playback not working in 3.16-9.
