I tested this with Proton 3.7-3 and 3.7-4-Beta. The game loads and I can use the keyboard to navigate the menu, but the mouse pointed doesn't move when I move the mouse, nor do the buttons register.

After an alt+tab, it works.

That worked!

Interestingly, alt-tabbing again stops the mouse from working. Toggling again will bring it back.

Also, I can't save. I type in the name of the save file, click "Save" but nothing happens.

Compatibility Report

System Information

Symptoms

1.20 NA: Launching the game will prompt the user to insert disc 2, and press ESC to exit. Very strange.

1.21: Game Launches, but mouse input is very stuttery and performance is very bad. Crashes about a minute into play.

1.21+d3d8to9: Same as 1.21, except mouse input feels much better. Still very bad performance. (https://github.com/crosire/d3d8to9)

When installing the Dash Faction patch (https://github.com/rafalh/dashfaction), the game runs great, but the mouse input feels very stuttery.

Dash Faction+d3d8to9: Game runs great, mouse input feels alot better, but is still a little wacky.

Be sure to enable PROTON_USE_D9VK=1 and WINEDLLOVERRIDES="d3d8=n" in launch options! Also, Dash Faction needs 1.20NA, it appears 1.21 isn’t supported.

Whitelist Request

System Information

Works great out of the box, no longer has performance issues as I mentioned previously. Runs best with the Dash Faction patch (https://github.com/rafalh/dashfaction) and d3d8to9 wrapper (https://github.com/crosire/d3d8to9) using "PROTON_USE_D9VK=1".

Hello, is anyone seeing an issue with this game and Proton 4.11 that would block it from being whitelisted?
