Hello @wordmagehughes, can you clarify if you're referring to a game update, Proton update, system update, or other?

Please add PROTON_LOG=1 %command% to the game's launch options, reproduce the issue, and attach the generated $HOME/steam-$APPID.log to this issue report as a file. (Proton logs compress well if needed.)

I've got issues with audio playing on Steam Deck (512GB). Every time I run the game there is sound on the speakers, but there is no sound when plugging headphones on the jack while running the game. Things turn otherwise when I run the game starting with headphones. I use Steam Linux Runtime.

kisak-valve commented 2 years ago

Hello @Asancu, if you're using the native Linux variant of this game with Steam Linux Runtime, then Proton isn't involved at all with the game. Your issue should be pondered outside the Proton issue tracker.

Hello, thanks for kindly letting me know.

I think I also had this same issue with GE-Proton7-26, but I can double-check or provide the necessary files to understand what could be causing this.

Once again, I appreciate your answer.

For better mod support this game would also have to have casefolding enabled. Not sure if Steam can do that and if this is the correct project to request it.
