Compatibility Report

System Information

I confirm:

Symptoms

Game seems to work fine in desktop mode getting to the main menu and even ingame, however when running it in game mode, it gets stuck visually on this upside down logo, making it impossible to play any further, though I can hear menu noises. It also seems that using"Wine-7.2-GE-2" seems to fix it in gaming mode on deck. The sequel (which is also on gog) seems to have the same issue. steam-9487350476476252160.log

Reproduction

https://www.gog.com/en/game/star_trek_voyager_elite_force Buy the game on gog, then find a way to install it on your deck. (I used the Heroic Games Launcher to do it), then launch the game through gaming mode.

I was able to get this to work. I bound one of the back paddles (I'm also on the Steam Deck) to ALT and one to Enter. Then when I was greeted with the upside down screen I just spammed them until the menu showed up.

To be honest I am unsure ALT was necessary, I haven't tried again with just Enter.

One thing to note before you play you really need to go into the settings and adjust the gamma settings. At first I thought I had a lighting issue when playing the game because it was so dark.
