I've failed to find dedicated issue to the problem on Github.

Games do not recognize russian keyboard layout input. Looks like problem is persistent across all games and everything works in native games like CS2.

Typing in Russian layout:

Baldur's Gate 3 - does not work (inventory search)
Eco - symbols are rendered as question marks
Stellaris - works in launcher, question marks in game

Proton: used either default Proton per game, or experimental - same issue.

Having the same issue with Garry's Mod under Proton Experimental and Proton 8.0-4 input in russian layout shows up as question marks

Same problem in Dead by Daylight and Overwatch. Can't type in chat, WASD keys not working until I switch to the US layout.

Having issues with Garry's Mod and Lethal Company. Both do not accept RU input and replace it with question marks. Also it's persistent between two devices with different hardware. I can confirm issue being still present with latest proton version for the same titles I've posted it with.
