• Proton version: experimental (game does not boot), proton 8 (game runs at 3-4 fps), and proton 9 beta (game crashes at splash screen)

I confirm:

• [x ] that I haven't found an existing compatibility report for this game.
• [x ] that I have checked whether there are updates for my system available. (had just run all updates and reoobted before installing steam and the game - and rebooted again after first crash)

i added that and the game would not load. so i took it out again. searched but did not find that log file either. ## Symptoms

with Proton 8, the game will run but only at 3-4 FPS, amking it unplayable. will not run with proton experimental. and crashes at splash screen with proton 9 beta. .. also., noticed a saved game issue. i close the steam client when i start a game. manor lords is set to cloud save. when the game saves, the steam client opens again - in front of the game - and the game seems to freezes until i close the steam window. i could fix that by saving locally, but it is a laptop and i did not want to use too much space for the game.

i test it with my Intel Laptop on Ubuntu 24.10 wit proton 9 and proton experimental successfully . You must set the Steam Command Line options: force_vk_vendor=-1 %command%

I dosn't have the current FPS, but it works just as fast as win 11.
