How well does it work? How long did you play?
Works well, but i played only 10 minutes.
Confirmed. Game works like a dream. 90 - 200FPS. Xbox 360 controller fully working. Played for 2 hours. Even works when alt-tabbing. Turn Vsync off to avoid frame stuttering. Gist: https://gist.github.com/supashang/6050de4e5ed8854f58d7152521048170

this was running pretty decent on 6.3-7 occasionally dropping framerate below 60 on my potato pc but generally acceptable, now on 6.3-8 it has horrible framerate and crashes. (after further testing it seems like it runs a bit better if i dont use gamemode) with the experimental version that was available same time as 6.3-7 there was a weird bug where sometimes in wrecking crew mode, it would just show every option as unknown or random after about 3-5 games and the game then had to be restarted to fix it, but it does not seem to appear any more in 6.3-8 or the new experimental. there also used to be some sound crackling, every now and then, but it seems to be fixed now.
Hello @Halvhjearne, please add PROTON_LOG=1 %command%
to the game's launch options, reproduce the regression, and attach the generated $HOME/steam-$APPID.log to this issue report as a file. (Proton logs compress well if needed.) Also, please copy your system information from Steam (Steam
-> Help
-> System Information
) and put it in a gist, then include a link to the gist in this issue report.
here is the link for system information: https://gist.github.com/Halvhjearne/e4899ac518ddc03d7ce6903796481150
after a restart of the computer it seems to run a bit better, but i still feel it was more smooth before, i will do more testing and the logging when i get some time.
