Well, arby26 made his own fix for the L4D1 hands on L4DMaps: http://www.l4dmaps.com/details.php?file=14312 Perhaps Valve shouldn't have made the animations so boring?
Yes! Also, nick fingers, dude, it has a white border around the thumb!
What i cant understand is because in early days of left 4 dead 2 early beta, those problems dind't happen, and the animations rocked.

Anyway, also the original Survivor hands were simply re-used from L4D1 without any modification to match L4D2 whatsoever (no offence to the weapon models, but I see nothing wrong with them!). Plus, is 'body awareness' coming back now that we have Oculus Rift and can see our playermodels' worldmodel?
L4D2 feels rushed, sure, but this is not a bug. Viewmodels are either in your face or you can see inside them. Don't expect valve to fix this,use addons to change weapons.

As being a fan of valve, it's such a shame and such amateurism feel thing it's present on the game, it has a lot of feel of a unfinished product.

Seriously folks, this is freaking me out from years, and still not fixed! this is terrible to see and breaks every realism feel in the game, it looks like even a beta product!
There is a lot of more cases and places the fingers/hand/arms get bugged, and nothing is done about this problem!
Also, this is not exclusive to L4D1 survivors port, there is a lot of issues with l4d2 original survivors too
