[TF2] Maps can't be voted for occasionally #2417

Sometimes at the end of a Casual match, no maps can be voted for, and the map that the previous match was on will be picked and loaded.

I have seen this behavior as well :)

I can confirm this. It prompts with three map options, but none can be selected, and the previous map runs again.

additionally chat window cant be clicked either when that happens

Can confirm. Maybe related but happens a lot when you get picked for the survey though I've had it happen on new items too.

To clarify, this affects everyone on the server.

as a quick fix one can open console and use 'next_map_vote' command to vote successfully, so it must be some kind of overlay interfering with the mouse

Appears to be fixed in the 2022-06-22 update.

  • Fixed sometimes not being able to vote on maps at the end of the round

Nope, it still happens. Happened two days ago for me. (After the patch)

Like @agrastiOs said, it's not fixed, it just happened to me right now.
