Halloween Event Glitch #2692

On Tf2, in the Halloween event a person got to use weapons in the melee event. I was told he was doing it by filling the phlog with Crits and taunting at the event. it's seems unfair and I want it patched

I can only assume that because this issue was made in 2014 that the "melee event" being talked about is the melee only Merasmus fortune on the map sd_doomsday_event. Before any fortune is chosen, players are given the condition TF_COND_HALLOWEEN_THRILLER which forces every taunt to be the thriller taunt when used or forced by the game. In order for the Phlog to activate, you need to perform the default taunt. Whatever the circumstances were back in 2014 are verifiably not the same currently. In the attached video I'm holding down right click to taunt with the Phlog as fast as you possibly can and mashing a bind for taunt 0.
