[L4D2] Occasional crash to desktop on Windows #2735

Windows Version 10.0.17763.292 GeForce RTX 2080 Ti NVIDIA Driver 417.71 Intel I7-6700K, 32 GB RAM, Samsung 960 Pro SSD

This crash happened to me on Windows 8.1 as well and on previous versions of NVIDIA drivers and 1080 Ti card.

I have attached .MDMP file generated after the game crashes.

This crash only happens when using Rayman1103's mutation mod to play Versus with bots.

It would be nice if it could be fixed or if it is not an engine fault tell me what causes it so I can ask the mod author to fix it.

For reference, the attached minidump is an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_WRITE in shaderapidx9.dll.

It is happening sometimes in first chapter of Dark Carnival and also most often in Cold Stream first chapter usually when playing as Special Infected.
