[CS:S] Gift Grab achievement not obtainable #2841

Out of the four Source Engine games that had the Gift Grab event added to them in 2011 - Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Counter-Strike: Source and Day of Defeat: Source - only three of them still have the event take place yearly allowing people to obtain their respective Gift Grab achievements. Counter-Strike: Source, for some reason, does not have a working event, which means the Gift Grab achievement is not unlockable. The only way to get it to work would be to pirate a specific build from 2011 which had the working event.

Considering that the name of the achievement had been changed some time last year from "Valve Gift Grab 2011" to simply "Gift Grab", is there any chance that the gift event could be reimplemented in CS:S for it to be unlockable again?

There is a SourceMod Plugin to enable the giftgrad during December with the same 20% drop rate as the original gift grab event. Can use the server browser tag search for giftgrab to find a server that has it... its only active in December and mod is modded lol
