L4D2 too few languages to select #3579

Hi i wanted to install L4D2 on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, but when i hit install it does not shows my native language which game should support (polish). I also have windows PC when i installed game a few years ago and it contains it.

Ways to reproduce it:

launch steam on ubuntu 20.04, hit install when selected L4D2

Sysinfo:

OS: Ubuntu 20.04.02 LTS CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (G0 stepping) GPU: ATI Radeon HD 4650 1 GB RAM: 8 GB DDR2 Kernel: 5.8.0.55

Same problem here :) My whole system is in Japanese. That's supported by the Windows version of L4D2 and shows up as an option when choosing to run the game via Proton. However, because of VAC, playing the game like this is not an option as whenever I try playing it it just tells me I should disable all my addons even if I have none.

Basically, setting the game to run via Proton lets you play in any language the game supports, but not multiplayer, and native only lets you play in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, or Russian.
