This wasn't included with the specs provided by Steam but my graphics card's driver version is 496.76.

Steps to reproduce: Put the -vulkan launch flag in L4D2's launch options Launch the game The screen will go black and then it will "crash" but it actually ends up as background task causing Steam to think you're still in game.

Side note: When I use the -vulkan launch flag with the HL2 beta it works perfectly, so my hypothesis is that it's a bug with older versions of dxvk and L4D2's version of Source and/or Windows 11.

Same problem here on Windows 11.
