[Aperture Desk Job] Not launching on Linux #3863

Hello,

I'm trying to play this game on Arch linux, however, it wont launch.

I'm playing on a Asus G14 Ryzen 7 4800HS with Radeon Graphics and GTX 1660 Ti Mobile. I'm using the "asusctl" additions with the kernel "5.16.11-arch1-g14-1" and "supergfxctl" on hybrid mode.

I tried to force the use of the integrated and dedicated GPU just to see if changed something, it did not.

Checking the dumpfile i can see this at the end:

1(0.705267): Unable to read steam.inf from steampal!

Checking the game files there is a "steampal" folder but there is no "steam.inf" to be found inside.

Best regards.

I too are having issues on Manjaro (Arch based).

Mine is just seg faulting, Not actually complaining of anything missing .

5950x 6800xt. 5.16.11 Kernel.

Works with proton actually. Set compatibility to proton recent version and you are good to go.
