Add-on consistency for replacing character voices; at the moment add-ons can replace many aspects of the game including character models, but there are also add-ons that replace character dialogues but don't officially have a way to do so like other add-ons because the game doesn't load dialogue VPKs. The current implementation for these types of add-ons requires users to subscribe to them, download them, find a VPK archive tool somewhere, open the VPK(s) with it, extract the files and preserve the file paths, and paste them over the game's loose files in the game folder. Clearly, this both a hassle and shouldn't be necessary given that this isn't an issue for the majority of other add-ons.
While not strictly "needed," the behavioral consistency for these add-ons compared to other add-ons to avoid unnecessary user-complexity to the process would be more desirable than the current implementation.
I'm not sure if this is a related but i also have audio issues with day of defeat source and team fortress 2, all characters are silent, in dod:s there is not even main menu music anymore

There are a few features on the list that I personally think are more important than this in particular (namely: 64-bit builds, official splitscreen support, the proposed "Clean-up Project," debugging symbols, bandwidth increase, map sources, Linux workshop uploader, and the missing Linux VPK tool), but this particular issue should be a rather easy fix given that this isn't an issue for the vast majority of add-ons and is more so a convenient consistency fix rather than a straight-up feature.
