[TF2] Hitting the action slot key while disguised as someone with a dueling mini-game brings up the duel menu. #4437

Title. Apologies if this has been posted before, but I couldn't find anything.

I don't really have any way to show this off properly, but here is an example video. If you disguise as someone that has the dueling mini-game equipped and hit the action slot key (H by default) it'll bring up the menu, but it can't be used normally.

See also what AzureAzel mentioned below.

Actually, that's not what's happening here. You can see the person in the video is annoyed about it happening to them. The video title also insinuates that he isn't the one doing anything. Which means they aren't the ones pressing H to bring up the dueling menu; the Sniper that he's disguising as is.

Any item that brings up a menu when equipped in the action slot will cause this to happen. If someone disguises as you, and you press H at any moment with it equipped, the menu will appear for the Spy as well. And it seems like the menu won't disappear until the Sniper closes out of it. So, he's intentionally freezing the Spy with it after dying.

I know for a fact it also happens when you press the button, as I've triggered it in-game several times myself. I suppose this is a double bug report then.

My apologies, I wasn't aware of that part. In that case, could you possibly test to see if the Spy triggering the menu to appear freezes the other player who originally had the item equipped? It'd be helpful to see if this issue occurs both ways.

Really wish this would be fixed. It stuns you with the menu in the middle of combat getting you killed.
