[TF2] official supported languages lack a lot of voice lines #4651

As said in the title, most languages lack a lot of voices lines, from MvM to Halloween and all the way to competitive and Arena they where never added. The most possible explaination is that they where never recorded, but considering this is Valve and half of theirs games have the same issue it could be that some exist but where never added.

If this is the case, I'd say they are more than welcomed, if there are none, it's alright.

This is the TF2 wiki page for the french voicelines, as it appeared on November 30th, 2010 - it is fully translated, every voiceline was translated into the game. As more voicelines were added with more updates, the foreign voice actors weren't rehired to continue translating them, leaving these new voicelines you're describing untranslated for someone playing with them.

Nothing can be done about this, besides hiring every voice actor again to translate the newest voicelines, such as the ones for MvM - which sounds about as likely as you'd expect it to be.

Sad. Thanks for the info trought

It would be nice, but sadly Valve no longer makes dubs for other languages since the last DLC of Portal 2 and games like Half-Life Alyx don't even have a dub for other languages.
