I discovered this while using VScript to attach attributes to weapons. Currently, "Set DamageType Ignite" seems to be broken in a strange way.
When applied to a weapon that cannot deal fire damage under any condition, an "ignition" sound is played when attacking an enemy but no visuals effects or afterburn is applied (although, if killed, the enemy's corpse will have a fire overlay applied).
When a weapon that cannot deal fire damage has this attribute applied, and damages a burning target, the afterburn is "overwritten" with the weapon's stats (for example, if a weapon deals bonus damage against burning players, or crits on burning players, the afterburn damage increases), but the afterburn duration is not reset as it typically would be.
When applied to a weapon that can situationally deal fire damage (i.e. The Cow Mangler 5000), the attribute seems to work as intended, with no noticeable issues.
