Bug

Summary: When launching a Team Fortress 2 game, joining an empty community server under certain maps would trigger the first person viewmodel to run at a very low framerate. Additionally (for the most part), entities and projectiles would also be affected. Reproducibility: Happens every time Steps to reproduce:

  1. Launch x64 Team Fortress 2
  2. Join a community server running an official map with zero players and zero bots
  3. Join a team and observe your first person weapon animations, projectiles, and entities lag

Maps it did occur on

Maps it did NOT occur on

Maps it DID occur on, but less intensively on

pl_upward

Deserves its own section. Had a variety of strange things occur

Other notes

Small update, was on pl_upward again and tried setting my cl_interp to different values. at 1. The rocket projectile itself was lagging, and at 0, it was not. The first person viewmodel lag did occur either way though.
