[TF2 Linux x64] Cinnamon crashes with SIGSEGV upon launch of TF2 #5697

Description: After updating to x64 version, launching the game produces a lot of visual artifacts, after which game loads for a bit, crashes and freezes everything until DE restarts itself. Steps to reproduce:

  1. Launch the game trough steam
  2. Enjoy the show
  3. ???
  4. SIGSEGV

Error also occurs on Pop! OS 22.04 (GNOME 42.5, x11).

This issue appears to be related to KDE, many people have been seeing issues with it.

heya, letting you know that, sigmod isnt supported on 64 bits. the developer who ported sigmod and kept updating gave up and theres an vscript version of it
