The system header bar isn't hidden in fullscreen (TF2 Vulkan, Linux) #5821

System: Fedora 39 DE: Gnome 45.5

Issue: When you run the game in fullscreen mode, the application window control panel will not be hidden and will be constantly visible like I run game in window. I thought this issue caused by custom hud, but no, same issue with stock TF2 hud.

In the game console I don't see some useful info about this issue:

Logs from terminal: Logs for TF2 devs.txt

Preview how issue looks like (brown bar a top of window with game):

I'm having the same issue, in that the top of the game window often just adds a bar and shifts the application downwards in a rendering pane (or something like that). This seems to be a roll of the die as to when it does and doesn't do it. It really is problematic because when it does this my FPS is way lower, suggesting something isn't rendering "right".

Really hoping this gets fixed, never happened before the engine overhaul.
