You need to specify some more. OS, specs, any modifications, etc.

A description of the situation where this issue becomes very noticeable would help out. It could be a description or a video.

NULLYUKI commented 4 months ago

After checking the issues again, this could also just be duplicate of https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Source-1-Games/issues/5745 or https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Source-1-Games/issues/5706

Is there any way to go back to the x32 version without having the insecure mode issue?

PyrodosBandeclay commented 4 months ago

[Nullyuki] looking foward or being in open areas makes the game runs on 5-0 fps, and looking to the floor or being in closed areas makes the games runs on 15-10 fps, before the update, the game ran on 15-25 on both situations

NULLYUKI commented 4 months ago

And what are your computer specs and what operating system are you using?

To be honest, it sounds like TF2 was already in an unplayable state if you weren't even reaching 30 FPS prior.

Windows 7 isn't officially supported by most developers anymore, and Intel Atom processors stopped being produced in 2012. Plus, 2 GB of RAM is incredibly low -- after allocating system resources you're absolutely pushing that thing to its absolute limit just by reaching TF2's main menu let alone gameplay.

I genuinely would not hold out hope that any changes they make could improve the game's performance for you.

you need to run it with the -steam launch option

gdfsgdfg commented 4 months ago

I almost thought this was serious until you showed those "specs" get an actual pc and not a potato to run tf2 on. That looks like absolutely below the minimum system requirements.

I think someone mentioned that you can still run 32 bit tf2 with these launch options -steam -game tf I do not know if it actually works.

[gdfsgdfg] I just need the money to buy one OBS: this pc is so old that the usb and headphone jack and other parts have come apart

id recommend to get the lowest preset for mastercomfig and turning on the low memory option on the addon page i havent played on such a bad computer before but i played on a 4gb and amd A8 intigraded graphics and those options helped a ton

I'm honestly you are still able to even launch the game anymore at this point with these specs. Your only option would be to use the absolute minimal cfg's but even then I don't think It will help you.

PyrodosBandeclay commented 4 months ago

[matty4kek] I tried one and gave me a little stabilize, but idk if this is because of the cfg or is the pc that was in good humor, i'll try another one with some mods for see if it's gonna work today update: it just game me an little stabilize, but still very laggy

My guess is you were already so low on physical memory that you were reverting to virtual memory. I expect the 64-bit version uses more memory, hence you would have an even worse performance.
