[TF2] #TF_Notification_Reported_Player_Has_Been_Banned spam can crash client #6193

Hello,

It seems receiving ~100+ of the reported matchmaking account ban notifications (#TF_Notification_Reported_Player_Has_Been_Banned) instantaneously will crash the client.

This seems to only affect users who participated in continuous reporting of bots/cheaters prior to the unspecified actions Valve has been taking since June ~26th to combat them.

While this is not a major issue, it should still be referenceable.

Appears similar to #5616

Hey,

I'm experiencing the same issue. From my experience the crash doesn't occur at all when in the main menu, instead the notification window will simply instantly close when I try opening it. In-game, however, opening the notifications can cause a crash (but not every time). These notifications also can't be dismissed. They come back every time you launch the game or join a server.

Attached is a clip showing the console messages regarding the notifications as well as me trying to open the notifications tab. I've also attached a screenshot of the notifications tab right before it closes itself.
