i am on pop os and whenever i try to play its stuck on the loading screen

Pop OS has outdated system libraries (it's based on an older version of Ubuntu LTS), but I don't know if they're more outdated than latest Debian.

Are you using the Vulkan or OpenGL version? Are you using any modifications (mods)? Are you using a custom FPS configuration? What are your launch options? Was TF2 working fine on your OS before?
