Performance regression in Need for Speed Heat on 3.5 #1239

Original comment:

I cant Roll Back to make a Video but i know that on 3.5 (for me) Need For Speed Heat was running rocksolid 40 fps with medium grafic settings and asSet fps Cap on the Deck. Without fsr. Now in 3.5.5 i had huge FPS stuttering and was 90% of the time below 40fps (more around 25-35). With locked GPU freq. I get to around 30-40fps but its still fluctuating much more than before so i now have to Cap the fps ro 30 and also lower the grafics settings.

So for me the bug did Not come imediately in 3.5 but somewhere after. The Performance boost i Had going from 3.4 to 3.5 is now gone with 3.5.5 and now the Performance is probably even worse than 3.4

Performance Overlay Level: 4 Frame limit: 30 FPS (on 3.5.5 due to stutters) 40 on 3.5.1 Disable Frame Limit: Off Allow Tearing: Off Half Rate Shading: Off TDP Limit: Off Manual GPU Clock: Off (Turned on to boost the 1040 clock (tried everything between 1200 and 1600 but did Not get Same Performance Like i had before the bug) Scaling Mode: Auto Scaling Filter: fsr (but Game Resolution Set in native so fsr Not actually on) Show Perf Overlay in Steam: On Game:NFS Heat Deluxe Edition Grafical settings: medium Resolution: native Resolution scaling: native

I dont know what information Else you might need.

So I updated to 3.5.7 and the performance got much better. But it was still worse than in 3.5. I also no longer have the bug with the frequency of the GPU jumping between 200 and 1040.

Now I tried to play Hellblade. I played this Game before on 3.5 and had 40fps 90% of the time and it never dropped below 30fps for sure. Now it is running at under 20fps where before it was running at around 30-33fps (the hardest area for the deck) and even if I try to drop the graphics settings from very high to medium or low and the fsr from quality to balanced it does not change anything. (A maximum gain of 4fps, but still below the previous performance).

If I set a manual GPU frequency I get around 25fps so I can play it, but without it its not worth the verified logo it has...

I also made a Video of it: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fPWmUruXYQmOEQ8vrA3q32MDEGRnfKd6/view?usp=drivesdk

Any update on this or the other performance issues people are noticing that 3.5 brought in, still seems like people are saying it's still there?
