I'm surprised this report has been ignored by the Valve devs here, now that there's finally a fairly clear fix in 6.4. Can that patch be backported to our older kernel version? Seems the wait for kernel 6.5 or beyond is going to be a while for SteamOS, but that Pro Controller fix would be extremely nice now rather than later.
Wait there is a fix now?
What fix? I still have this issue Kubuntu desktop using 6.8 kernel.
Issue still perists on latest version.

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
Pro controller keeps disconnecting every few seconds while gaming or in the Steam menu. Tested with the rumble feature turned on and off but the same issue occurs. Doesn't appear do be related to the distance between the Steam Deck and the controller.
Searched online for this similar issue and it seems to be a common problem.
I managed to find this patch that I think it was included in kernel version 6.4 that may or may not fix the problem: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/hid/hid.git/commit/?h=for-6.4/nintendo&id=d750d1480362781e208b3cc64640c0be127afcc9
Is this patch included in the latest SteamOS version 3.5.7 with the kernel version 6.1.52?
