Ventoy is "an open source tool to create bootable USB drive for ISO/WIM/IMG/VHD(x)/EFI files. With ventoy, you don't need to format the disk over and over, you just need to copy the image files to the USB drive and boot it. You can copy many image files at a time and ventoy will give you a boot menu to select them."
It's an extremely handy tool that I've found invaluable since I discovered it. However, the SteamOS recovery image doesn't support booting it with Ventoy - it just hangs. In the issue https://github.com/ventoy/Ventoy/issues/1815, @Tank-Missile created mkinitcpio hooks that generate a ramdisk that is compatible with booting using Ventoy. Would be great if it was implemented from a QoL standpoint.
