Have you checked for updates in Settings > System?: Yes

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

After updating to SteamOS 3.6 (Beta) Helldivers2 starts sometimes (more than 50% of the time) with a black screen while the audio works.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

Start HD2
Wait until you hear the sound of the intro.
Screen is black.
Push the power button to suspend.
Wait 5 seconds.
Push the power button to resume.
Screen shows game as it should.

I'm having this issue today with Half-Life 2. The game starts with a black screen (with audio playing) 100% of the time on the latest Beta build of Steam OS 3.6. Suspending and resuming restores the screen. The issue does not exist on Stable.
