AlienFX only allow whitish lifeless dull color to choose from within SteamOS #167

I have an Alienware X51, recent update added AlienFX option setting within steamOS which is nice actually.

However the color range to choose is rather limited and color are lifeless.

Would be a lot better to have the possibility to choose the full range of possible color via a classic color palette. (Personalty I like the classic Blue LED color)

Any possibility to have this within Windows also? I don't have any Alienware bloatware installed so would be nice to change the LEDs within Steam on that OS too.

I'm not sure of exactly how it's set up, but the Windows steam client features the SteamOS launch flag which seems feature complete.

Yeah my windows partition is setup with steam as the shell and is start with the steamos flag.

AlienFX option is not present however, (but yeah all the other SteamOS stuff is there)

The colors have been fixed a while back, what you are seeing now are mostly placeholder values. The fix will propagate through as part of the next beta cycle. I don't think this'll ever be supported on Windows, sorry.
