7 days to die is not launchable in SteamOS #402

This game crash directly after push "Play" button in Steam Cordialy

It this really a SteamOS issue? What version of SteamOS and client are you on (settings menu)? Does this also occur in a standard Linux Steam client if you have another PC to test with? Have you searched the game forums?

I have tested on SteamOS and LinuxMint 64bit In LinuxMint, the game work perfectly. In SteamOS not.

Another user of SteamOS confirm problem.

My SteamOS version : SteamOS 2.0-1:2.40

i strange a game work if start on the desktop (not playable because steam drm but it's start)

In any case, this is a game developer issue, and needs brought to their attention. This isn't SteamOS-specific. I'd close this issue and tell them their game does not launch under SteamOS.

Works for me on SteamOS. However I found out that it does have more "chance" to crash on SteamOS or on Ubuntu 14.04 with BGM than on Steam for Ubuntu 14.04
