Cannot access gnome-desktop #627

Your system information

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

I have been using gnome-desktop for some months to use playonlinux and lutris. I did a update of all packages yesterday before turning off my steam machine (maybe this is the reason for the problem). Today I tried to enter gnome desktop via the power-off-button (as always). It does not do anything. So I went to gnome-terminal with Ctrl + Alt + F2 and logged in. After logging in I tried to start startx but I only got a blue screen without any buttons. Maybe something broken with xwindow or nvida driver?

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Activate the access to gnome-desktop in Settings
  2. Access gnome-desktop via power-off-button -> does not work
  3. Access gnome-terminal via Ctrl + Alt + F2
  4. Start sudo startx -> only blue screen

Attached you find the last upgraded and installed packages. I think not starting gnome desktop again evolved when installing the latest wine versions.
