2.0 Base Stations not detected? #190

Attempting to use SteamVR for Linux with my Vive Pro, but it doesn't see the 2.0 base stations at all. Can confirm it's working on the same computer when in Windows. Controllers do pair and the headset appears in the list but the steamvr menu doesn't come up. Running in 18.10 Cosmic with the perms.rules in place.

Other things I’ve noticed are that there are no audio options in the audio selection menu, and that scanning for 2.0 base stations doesn’t do anything. However, I think both of these may just be current features missing in SteamVR for Linux. My real concern is definitely getting those 2.0 base stations up and running.

Huh ok, was able to get it to detect my base stations by purging the package and then reinstalling using the deb from the Steam website. Sadly now I’m having many instances where even apps like Room Setup can cause my PC to hang so bad I have to restart it, and it happens very very often

Issue appears to be a repeat of: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/SteamVR-for-Linux/issues/186
