[BUG] Bring back vrmonitor.sh #705

Closed prototypesRise closed 1 month ago

On Fedora 39 xorg was my default window manager and I use HTC vive 2. I started the app via running the vrmonitor.sh script after applying the patch vive 2 patch and it works not flawlessly but usable. This was during the days before the version 2.5 update, I was able to play my vr games and only crashing when I used the camera or the desktop viewer. The state of the app shown in the screenshot is what would normally get running the app normally. If I ran the app through the vrmonitor.sh the app would start and I would get frame rate data and enter the hub area (mountain ranges). VR home would not start until vr 2.4.4.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Start the app

Expected behavior Head set fails
