In the Desktop tab of the Steam Overlay, if the user changes the desktop resolution from the originally selected resolution, the cursor and lasrer pointer will become misaligned. The cursor will continue to move in tandem wit hthe laser pointer, but will be a distance away based on the difference between the original resolution and the newly selected resolution.
This issue occurs regardless of the user's original resolution when opening the SteamVR Overlay. Switching back to the original resolution resolves the issue. Additionally, the issue can be resolved by closing and re-opening the Steam Overlay, at which point the cursor will be aligned with the laser pointer once more. The user will still be able to replicate the issue by changing the resolution once more, however.
